Patience is one of the hardest things to deal with. I know someone who just purchased something and is disappointed and I’m not surprised. Not everything is worth having, not everything is worth doing, you are WAY ahead of the pack waiting and doing the thing that will benefit you the most.

In the meantime, keep doing what you are doing so that when you get to that thing it be hugely valuable!

You RAWK right? So get on with rawkin’ while everyone else isn’t.

I am lusting over the iPad2 and thinking about ways to use [justify] how I will use it in my daily life. I too have an Apple Crush and know in my heart I will find ways to interact with the world, via my iPad2….I’m already thinking of nicknames for it.

Alexis, I love this post! I’m an Apple freak, too – but there our similarity ends – I am NOT techie, get confused and bored by people’s excitement over their tech gadgets…

but not while reading YOUR post — ohmyword! I’m almost wanting to turn geek!

When I first looked at your post and saw that it was about the iPad (and saw the picture), I wondered “WTF is Alexia thrilled about — it looks like a laptop, but smaller – big effin deal”.

Then I read your post — and I guess it has to do with your ability to explain things *really* well, or that combined with your passion really coming across — but i GOT it, I really GOT the deal – why this new tool (and it’s little tool accessories) is so cool!

I swear this is the FIRST time ever I’ve understood someone’s gizmo passion – I think I want an iPad now (oh shit, now I’ll be envious for awhile).

Great post – great explanation for the non-geek among us – and I will surely use those affiliate links if I move toward iPad ownership, thanks for this!!

I also received my iPad for Christmas 2010.

While I am not writing an ebook, I am trying to get my website live, write blog posts, and edit pics for posting on my site and big cartel.

I really appreciate this post and any additional ideas that you think would be beneficial for the projects at hand.
